The Kids College Almanac, Greenfeld and Weinstein. A bit basic, but very good, sensible information.
Colleges That Change Lives, Loren Pope. A must-read for those who are interested in choosing the “right” school rather than the “best” school.
Additionally, the UC websites provide excellent information and advice on the basic application process, as well as the personal statements in particular.
